Touchscreen Interface
A large showcase with cameras connected to Flash via TUIO displays the advantages of the new MP3 Hybrid by Piaggio. The bike itself stands close to the display.
By touching a point on the screen, a video will be projected on the motorcycle, thereby explaining the MP3 Hybrid’s key features (airbag, hybrid engine, etc).
Each feature has a separate screen that allow users to gain more information through interaction.
Augmented Reality
A tabletop screen equipped with surface lazers and infared cameras is connected to Flash via TUIO to display features of a Pipistrel aircraft which physically stands close to the screen.
Users can interact with the aircraft’s features by pointing a wii controller at the plane to change the aircraft’s colors as well as virtually peeling away layers of the airplane’s structure to reveal the working mechanism.
Interactive Game
A wall projection screen shows the board of ‘gioco dell’Oca’, a popular Italian board game. Children are given a die connected to Flash via TUIO.
[This video also features a building projection, also featuring TUIO technology & Flash, that was a part of the same festival.]
